From his travel experience deep into the village he found out the people of Nobel. The adventure he had during his visit to the village of Baduy was written on his book, In Search of Nobel Savage.
The Baduy reject the convenience of modern lifestyle. They prefer to live unchanged the way their ancestor do. Although the village is not far from Jakarta, the Baduy enjoy the simplicity of life.
Nowadays, the people of Baduy, which they call themselves "Urang Kanekes" or Kanekes People, still live unchaged since Blume traveled there and will always welcome you to visit the village as one of their sacred duty.
